Blast Radius is a 2-player hex strategy game where pieces create exclusion zones.
Players place new pieces so that the smallest possible friendly tower is formed.
If any towers are in the exclusion zone of the modified tower, those towers are removed, even if they belonged to the player themselves.

Rules summary
Gameplay
To start, Red covers any space.
From then on, starting with Blue, players take turns.
Your Turn
On your turn, you must form the smallest tower possible. You do this by placing a piece on an empty space or one of your towers. If this forms a tower of height 2 or more, pieces may be removed as described below.
- Example: If you can play on an empty space you must do that.
- Example: If you cannot play on an empty space, but you have towers of size 1, 1, and 2, you must play on one of the size 1 towers.
Exclusion Zones
Each tower is surrounded by an exclusion zone with a radius equal to the tower's height.
- Example: A tower of height 1 has an exclusion zone containing 6 hexes.
- Example: A tower of height 2 has an exclusion zone containing 18 hexes.
You cannot place pieces within an exclusion zone.
When a tower grows to height 2 or more, its exclusion zone grows. All towers within that zone belonging to either player are immediately removed.
End of Game
The game ends when only one player has pieces left on the board (except at the end of Red's first turn). The player with pieces remaining is the winner.
Note that a tie is impossible.
