Especially in the early game, the shown food requirement is wrong. It always shows the requirement from the *last* turn. For example, if food cost was normal (say, 6 for 3 dwarves), it will show 6. IF in the same situation, a half harvest had passed, the game will show 3. This will happen even in phases where the next feeding requirement is known.
I suggest the feeding requirement is updated **after** feeding phase to reflect the next feeding cost. A question mark should be shown if it is now known, or perhaps x(max), where max reflects the maximum possible value for the next feeding phase based on the possible alternatives left. -
