Report history
I undid the turn a couple times to retrigger it and it happened every time.

I had no money at the beginning of the turn.
To continue the game I did a level 5 association with an X token to do a conservation project.
Why could I not upgrade a card but do a conservation project instead? They are both using the association action card and both give me zero money to pay off venom.
I dont see any issue here.
The "if you can't pay for venom then you have to restart your turn" rule is very not obvious and I'm fairly certain that the tool tip doesn't mention. It would be a better experience if it explained that aspect in the tooltip, as a number of games follow the approach if you have no money then nevermind.
After rereading everything I get it now but it's very confusing if you didn't realise that aspect of the rules.
