I won a skirmish in a four player game on the tie breaker - I had one more point of population: Hunter + Brawler + Brawler verses Brawler + Scout + Shovel. The result said that I won the skirmish but then the log said that there was no clear winner and the contested card was shuffled into the junkyard. I can confirm this was the case because I did not have a new contested resource in my deck and then later on I was lucky enough to dig it out (when no other contested resources were sent to the junkyard in that game).

It was move 212 and when I got to move 213 I could see that the log said that the card had gone to the junkyard instead of my deck
