We found the solution to the issue where we couldn't play new recruit cards- just to refresh the page.
But it became tedious to have to refresh sometimes multiple times per turn. -

Each time somebody stole a recruit card, or played a temporary recruit, or played a boss card they were not available to use them to make a deal. We found that we could solve the issue by just refreshing the page, but it became tedious to have to refresh sometimes multiple times per turn.
