I had 5 coins and one action left, the ui was showing I could buy the cards up to row 4 but not row 5, I wanted to buy the last Dominance on row 5 which would make me win.

My turn began (the 12th), I had 7 coins, I did a bonus action to buy a diamond for 2 rupees leaving me with 5 coins. Then I could not buy the Dominance (nor the other card on row 5). I undid my turn and I was able to buy them with my 7 rupees in hand, but not with 5.

Report history
If you tried to buy a first gift (you say diamond) this costs two rupees which are placed in the fifth column in the market. You can then not purchase cards from the fifth column that turn.
This explains when you undid buying a gift why you could then purchase from the fifth column in the market.
I’m not the dev but don’t think this is a bug.
