The game started with 40 cards in the deck (short game). I don't know if that's correct or not. Should the 40 cards include those on the table and players' hands?
Anyway, the main issue is that after the first move (move #3 in the log), the number of cards in the deck went down to 6, and the game finished too soon. I can't see anything in the rules to justify this. -

This is really weird. There is nothing in the code which can do this.
The table is no longer open, so I don't have the means to check what has happened.
