We were playing a casual game with no time limit. One of the players had to leave and just went away without quitting the game. This resulted in the game being stuck waiting for him, and thus the rest of the players could not continue playing. We could not even agree to abandon the game collectively because that player had left. There should be a mechanism to remove players who have timed out for some number of minutes, even in a casual game. What if someone loses their internet connection and is not able to rejoin a game? Then they other players would be stuck and not be able to do anything either.
